It gives me great pleasure to congratulate Third Millennium on its 15th Anniversary. Its founder Sumit Chaudhuri brings many strengths to this consultancy firm. First, he is entrepreneurial. He took the risk of leaving potentially secure and bright careers, both in public and private sector firms, to take up consultancy practice. Second, he is also a competent CEO with multi-functional skills. He has, in particular, two strengths required in a consulting firm — Sales skills to get projects; and HR skills to attract, retain and utilize talent. Third, he is full of energy and drive. These are required to overcome the many external and internal turbulences in the process of building a practice. I wish Sumit and Third Millennium continuing great successes.

It is a matter of immense pleasure to felicitate THIRD MILLENNIUM and its promoter Mr. Sumit Chaudhury on the outstanding success of the consulting organization during the last fifteen epochal years. The felicitations are due on three counts: the management consulting’s great contributions; THIRD MILLENNIUM’s growth ― organic and inorganic ― and Mr. Sumit Choudhury’s own attainments. Each one is significant of which one could be proud.
His contributions in promoting and guiding the activities of the Delhi Chapter of the Management Consultants of India call for approbation. He has kept the flag flying for many many years. He was instrumental in organizing a large number of programmes of various kinds for the Chapter and even on the regional and national level.
Apart from being a consultant, he has been actively engaged in education and training through outstanding institutions in India and other countries. He is a very impressive speaker and communicator.
The world is growing incredibly in multiple directions aided and abetted by technological advances. To cope up with these, professional services are also undergoing a total transformation. Due to globalization, competition is widening and deepening. To sustain oneself for a decade and half is a memorable feat.
I believe, I can say, Sumit is still too young. He has many more laurels in store. His colleagues and associates are looking forward to these in decades to come.
We all, those who have been associated with his work, look forward to his achievements in years to come and wish him many successes in the service of the profession, which has not received the due accolades. By much better cooperation and mutual goodwill, which lacks the headed cohesion, the profession can attain much greater heights which will call for dedicated contributors like Sumit.
