Sumit is an International Consultant and Trainer in the HRD space with more than three decades of rich experience in corporate management. After holding senior management positions in giant Indian corporates, DCM and Escorts, he is now the Chairperson and Managing Director of THIRD MILLENNIUM BUSINESS RESOURCE ASSOCIATES PRIVATE LIMITED.
He is an alumnus of Delhi School of Social Work, Faculty of Management Studies and Faculty of Law of the University of Delhi. He also holds diplomas in Labour Law and Training and Development.
He has presented papers in international conferences, chaired sessions at such conferences and has conducted learning and development programmes outside India as well.
Apart from consulting and training for more than SEVENTY FIVE organisations, most of which belong to the TEN largest business groups in the country, many of the Maharatna PSUs and some multinational companies, he is actively involved in conducting training and development programmes / workshops regularly for IAS Officers at their Academy in Mussoorie.
He is a Trustee and Director of International Consulting Professionals’ Institute (ICPI), Fellow Member of Association of Independent Directors of India (AIDI), a member of the Task Force of International Council of Consultants, has been a member of the Diploma Board of Indian Society of Training & Development (ISTD), a Governing Body Member of Association For Development (AFD), a prominent NGO and is a life member / member of almost all major management associations.
Sumit and his organisation’s activities have been written about in prestigious newspapers like The Times of India, Hindustan Times, The Economic Times, The Financial Express and The Pioneer among others. He has been aired on programmes by All India Radio (AIR) and other electronic media as well. Some of his favourite concepts, like the “ASK Principle of Success” and “HR is all AIR” among others have been prominently acknowledged by management professionals and media alike.
